German M42 SS helmet

I have been collecting military helmets for many years. I have many pieces and I will part with some helmets over time.

German M42 SS helmet

German helmet model 1942 of the SS. The decal has been scraped, only tiny traces remain.

Complete helmet, with its liner and its chinstrap, originals.
Markings present on the helmet, at the nape: CKL64 3156
Other examples with the same markings are known and the SS decal was a decal of the 2nd type from ET.
No visible marking on the chinstrap.

Smooth light feldgrau paint, seems to have 'turned' a little with time.
Liner with 'DRP 1943' outband, thick and supple leather, little worn. No visible marking on the leather. The tightening lace is not original.

It is very likely that this helmet was produced at the beginning of 1943. In fact, the badges disappeared from March 43, except for police helmets.
