M35 german helmet SD WH reissued

German helmet model 1935. 1 Wehrmacht decal, repainted black for use after the war.

Manufacturer ET, size 62, metal roll lot number 7759.

Original reinforced aluminum liner dated 1940, size 54, cap fixing rivets showing some play. Original assembly, in its original state.

We can clearly see the trace of a decal under the black paint.
A microscopic examination confirms that under the black paint there is a WH decal. Given the date of the liner and the fact that there is only one decal it is very likely that this helmet was produced after March 1940, which makes it a late m35.
Beautiful piece with its original elements at a very affordable price considering the prices of M35s these days...
